The sense of mineness in personal memory: problems for the endorsement model

What does it take for a subject to experience personal memory as being her own? According Fernández’ (2019) model of endorsement, this particular phenomenal quality our memories, their “sense mineness”, can be explained in terms the mnemonic content veridical. In article, I criticize two reasons: (a) evidence that is used by Fernández ground his theoretical proposal dubious; and more importantly, (b) endorsement not accommodate many non-pathological everyday memories preserve sense mineness, but whose veridicality explicitly denied, suspected, automatically endorsed, or neither denied nor endorsed. Finally, sketch alternative explanations: one also problematic, other promising, present some normative advantages latter. This displays undesirability from perspective.
